The Yoga of R/evolutionary R/elating 4-Day Immersion Retreat
Led by Taber Shadburne, M.A., Creator of "R/evolutionary R/elating,"certified Master Trainer in Radical Honesty, & Founder of Church of Soul & Anjali Sunita E-RYT, Baltimore Yoga Village Founder and Director
The days of solitary spiritual enlightenment have passed us. As Thich Nhat Hanh famously said, “the next Buddha may be a sangha" — a community practicing awareness, understanding, acceptance and loving kindness.
Yet most of the time, we use conversation to unconsciously avoid the present, because the present is a rather intense place.
R/evolutionary R/elating shows us another way, a transformational conversation, a yoga of telling the truth. Then we find that this shared present, though sometimes a bit daunting at first, is where the serious magic happens.
Throughout the days of this immersion, we will draw upon the nourishment of mindful practice to soften the process of learning to feel on this deep level and calm the nervous system enough to be able to deal with hard stuff of relating. An in the process, we will create a container in which we will learn the boundless expressions of the human spirit. Specifically, the retreat will consist of:
Day 1: Introduction
Friday March 29: 6:30 to 9:30 pm
You will be introduced to the practice of creating transformational relationships, given a roadmap to the art of R/evolutionary R/elating as a spiritual path, introduced to the elements of this practice, and given a larger context for the daily practice of soulful communication, which we will dive deeper into during the weekend workshops. We will begin to learn about the topics of Inspiring Intentions, Artful Agreements, Transformational Trust and Cleaning Karma.
Day 2: Beyond Hiding and Fighting
Saturday March 30: 12:00 to 2:00 pm, 2:30 to 6:00 pm, & 7:00 to 8:30 pm
Becoming more self-revealed and stopping the game of pretending. We will dive deeper into the particulars of R/evolutionary R/elating. We may touch on the 3 "Ns" of soulful connection, 3 languages of soulful communication, the art of full body forgiveness and letting go of the past, and the art of asking for what you want. Whatever we do not dive into on Saturday, we will touch upon on Sunday.
Day 3: Soulful Communication in Action
Sunday March 31: 1:00 to 5:30 pm
We will continue the work from Saturday's workshop and apply the exercises to live coaching through real life issues. You are welcome and encouraged to bring a person with whom you want to have a conversation with to the whole weekend or for this Sunday session. Otherwise, you will benefit from observing real-time facilitation and the transformational process of soulful communication.
Day 4: More Practice More Depth!
10 am - 4 pm. Taber will guide us further as we steep in our new found community of growth. More practice to dive deeper.
